I am announcing my candidacy for New Hampshire State Representative for Strafford County District 4, representing the towns of Barrington and Strafford.
Over the past several years, many of you have followed my work through NH Insights, my community volunteer activities, and countless conversations about the future of our state. Whether discussing education, taxes, housing, economic development, or government accountability, my goal has always been the same: focus on facts, understand the underlying causes of problems, and work toward practical solutions.
I believe New Hampshire is at an important crossroads.
We face growing challenges in education, workforce development, housing affordability, infrastructure, energy costs, and the long-term sustainability of our state’s finances. Too often, political discussions focus on symptoms rather than causes, and on short-term victories rather than long-term strategy.
I am running because I believe our communities deserve thoughtful, accountable leadership that is willing to ask difficult questions, examine evidence honestly, and work collaboratively to find solutions that benefit current and future generations.
Throughout my career, I worked with organizations across the country to improve performance, solve complex problems, and align strategy with results. Since retiring, I have continued serving our community through volunteer leadership roles, including the Barrington Planning Board, the Advisory Budget Committee, SCORE mentoring, and other community initiatives. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that good decisions begin with good information and meaningful public engagement.
My campaign will focus on bringing a practical, analytical approach to state government — one that relies on evidence, long-term thinking, and a commitment to solving problems rather than simply debating them.
I do not claim to have all the answers. However, I believe we can make better decisions when we listen carefully, engage respectfully, and base our discussions on evidence rather than assumptions.
Over the coming months, I will continue publishing research, hosting conversations, meeting with residents, and listening to concerns throughout Barrington and Strafford. I hope this campaign can become a forum for thoughtful discussion about where New Hampshire is today and where we want it to be tomorrow.
I invite you to join me in that effort.
